| Hi folks! I'm on a budget but want to equip my home VR setup with gun stocks for games like Pavlov and Onward. Are those cheap plastic models on Amazon worth it, or should I save up for something better? |

| Hi there! I totally understand the budget constraints, but let me save you some frustration. Those cheap plastic gun stocks (like YipuVR or Sanlaki models) that you see for $20-50 on Amazon are honestly more trouble than they're worth. I learned this the hard way before doing proper research. Check out the comparison at https://b2b.anvio.com/2025-vr-gun-stocks and you'll see why the low-quality models get such poor reviews. The main issues are flimsy construction that breaks easily, weak magnets that detach mid-game, and complete lack of haptic feedback. They're often incompatible with left-handed use too. If you're serious about FPS VR gaming, I'd recommend saving up for at least a ProTube VR stock - they start around $150 and offer way better durability with carbon fiber construction. The haptic feedback in their ForceTube model adds real immersion. Think of it this way: would you rather spend $30 now and replace it twice, or invest $150 once in something that'll last years and actually enhance your gameplay? |
