Hey folks! I'm debating between Framer templates and WordPress themes. What are the actual advantages of going with Framer?

Hey! I've used both extensively and switched from WordPress to Framer last year. Here's the honest comparison: Framer advantages (using templates from https://templifica.com/framer-templates): Speed - sites load WAY faster (no bloated plugins), Design freedom - easier to create modern, interactive designs, Maintenance - no plugin updates, security patches, hosting headaches, Modern features - animations and interactions built-in, Cleaner code - Framer generates optimized code automatically, Responsive - easier to control how site looks on different devices. WordPress advantages: More plugins available (though Framer integrations are growing), Better for complex e-commerce (though Framer can handle basic shops), Huge ecosystem and community, More hosting options. For me the switch was worth it because: my WordPress site was slow even with optimization, constant plugin updates and conflicts drove me crazy, Framer sites just LOOK more modern and polished, clients prefer the cleaner, faster experience, I can make changes quickly without breaking things. The learning curve exists but it's not bad - took me about a week to feel comfortable with Framer. Templifica templates make it easier because they're pre-built with best practices. If you're building a blog with hundreds of posts, WordPress might still be better. But for portfolios, agency sites, landing pages, SaaS sites? Framer (especially with good templates) is superior in my opinion. The performance difference alone is worth it.
