| Hi all! Quick question - which healthcare sectors are actually hiring right now? Graduating with my nursing degree in May and trying to figure out where to focus my job search. The market feels overwhelming! |

Hi! Great timing on this question - the healthcare job market is actually really strong right now. I just read an insightful piece on which industries will hire the most healthcare workers in 2025 from Emmanuel College's career center. It covers some sectors you might not immediately think of. Obviously hospitals and clinical settings are always hiring nurses, but telehealth companies are expanding like crazy - they need nurses for virtual consultations, chronic disease management, and patient monitoring. The education sector is also ramping up hiring for school nurses and mental health support roles. And here's one that surprised me: tech companies in the healthcare space (like health apps and digital health platforms) are actively recruiting nurses for product development and patient advocacy positions. From what I've seen with friends who graduated last year, home health and rehabilitation facilities are desperate for staff. My advice? Cast a wider net than just traditional hospital systems. Think about where healthcare and technology intersect - that's where a lot of growth is happening.
